Co‑op Trainee – Mining Operations

About the role

This co‑op trainee position offers a hands‑on introduction to basic mining operations. You will work on‑site, gaining practical experience while adhering to strict health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Attend general safety induction and mine‑specific safety training sessions.
• Comply with all HSE policies, procedures, and site safety rules.
• Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Prepare weekly learning summaries or short presentations.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training sessions and receive supervisor feedback.
• Complete assigned training tasks and final evaluation.

• Motivation to learn basic mining workflows and safety practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
