Cost Controller & Accountant

About the role

Green Initiative is seeking a Cost Controller & Accountant to oversee project expenditures and margin analysis for construction projects in Saudi Arabia. The role combines financial accounting expertise with project cost management to ensure budgets are met and cost‑effective decisions are supported.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor total project expenditure in SAP PS, ensuring all costs are captured and recorded accurately.
• Track project scheduling and progress, creating and maintaining WBS structures.
• Generate reports on purchases, invoicing, deliveries and project closure.
• Collaborate with the project management team to resolve issues and support timely delivery.
• Attend project meetings and provide cost‑control updates to finance management on a monthly basis.
• Prepare cost‑control and planning advice for senior finance managers.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties related to project costing as required.

Required profile

• First‑class Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering with a focus on Project Management or Cost Control.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project estimating and cost control within the GCC/Saudi construction sector.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and with minimal supervision.
• Philippine nationality preferred.
• Work location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP PS module.
• Experience using CCS and Primavera scheduling tools.
• Advanced Excel spreadsheet modelling.
• Working knowledge of statistical analysis.
