Cost Controller – Hospitality Finance

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Cost Controller to join the finance team at Raffles Hotel Jeddah. In this position you will oversee cost management across all hotel departments, ensuring financial resources are used efficiently and in line with the brand’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost‑control systems and procedures to monitor expenses and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyse financial data, prepare detailed cost reports and provide insights for management decision‑making.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Monitor budget variances, report findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage departmental budgets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and local regulations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives and participate in long‑term financial planning.
• Perform cost‑benefit analyses for proposed projects or investments.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on cost‑control procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (extensive experience may substitute for a diploma).
• Proven experience in cost control or financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian financial regulations (preferred).
• Professional certification such as CMA or CIMA (preferred).
