Cost Controller – Hospitality Finance

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Cost Controller to join the Finance team of a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel within the Accor network. The role focuses on monitoring food, beverage and operational costs, ensuring accurate inventory management and supporting profitability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control operating costs across the hotel.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and record stock movements accurately.
• Analyze daily and monthly cost reports, investigating significant variances.
• Review purchase prices, supplier invoices, receiving records and goods received notes.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and assist with financial reporting and month‑end closing.
• Reconcile physical inventory with system records and investigate discrepancies.
• Identify slow‑moving, excessive or obsolete inventory and propose reductions.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Stores, Kitchen, Food & Beverage and Finance teams to improve cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3–4 years of cost control experience, preferably in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Good understanding of hotel accounting and purchasing procedures.
• Strong analytical, numerical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and investigate variances.
