Cost Estimation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cost Estimation Engineer to join our team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on cost estimation, tendering, and managing government projects using the Etimad Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze government tenders and projects through the Etimad Platform.
• Examine tender documents, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Prepare and analyze BOQs and project pricing.
• Analyze direct and indirect project costs and evaluate technical and financial offers.
• Verify quantities, item rates, and pricing accuracy.
• Conduct market price analysis to support tender pricing.
• Prepare cost estimates, financial analyses, and tender reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, suppliers, and other departments to obtain accurate pricing.
• Prepare professional recommendations and reports for management.
• Follow up on tender submissions throughout the tender process.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cost estimation and tendering.
• Strong experience with government projects and tenders.
• Practical experience using the Etimad Platform.
• Excellent knowledge of BOQ analysis, quantity take‑offs, and pricing.
• Good understanding of material, labor, equipment, and project execution costs.
• Egyptian nationality preferred.
