Country HR Manager – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Country HR Manager will support the Regional HR Manager for the Middle East by delivering senior generalist HR services in Saudi Arabia. You will act as the primary HR point of contact, ensuring compliance with Saudi labour law and driving the company’s Saudization objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with managers and employees, providing day‑to‑day HR advice on performance, development, grievances, disciplinary actions, training, and compensation.
• Coordinate payroll issues in close partnership with the regional payroll team.
• Lead the local employee Voices survey, promote participation and translate results into actionable plans.
• Localise regional HR policies for Saudi Arabia, ensuring alignment with AkzoNobel directives and legal requirements.
• Support talent acquisition activities in KSA, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Deep knowledge of Saudi labour legislation and Saudization practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
