Credit Manager (Saudi National)

About the role

SLS The Red Sea, a lifestyle resort on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia, is hiring a Credit Manager (Saudi National) to protect the hotel's financial health. You will manage credit operations, oversee accounts receivable and ensure timely collections while keeping strong relationships with guests and business partners, working closely with Finance, Sales, Events and Front Office.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee credit operations and accounts receivable to ensure effective financial control and healthy cash flow.
• Review and approve credit applications for corporate clients, groups and other business partners in line with hotel policy.
• Establish and monitor credit limits and payment terms with the Director of Finance.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, billing and collection of outstanding payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue balances.
• Maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel partners and guests, resolving billing and payment disputes.
• Prepare monthly credit reports, aging summaries, reconciliations and bad debt provisions.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, accounting standards, company policies and internal audit requirements.
• Maintain credit and billing records in systems such as Opera, Sun Systems and Micros.
• Support financial audits, train departments on credit policies and report credit performance and risks to the Director of Finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel accounting or finance, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Previous experience in luxury or lifestyle hospitality is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of credit control, accounts receivable, collections and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of IFRS, Saudi financial regulations and internal financial controls.
• Experience with hotel financial systems such as Opera, Sun Systems and Micros.
