Crew Duty Controller

About the role

As a Crew Duty Controller you will supervise and manage worldwide operational activities for flight and cabin crew, ensuring crew resources are allocated efficiently and safely. Working in the Operations Control Center and Crew Operations Center, you will maintain crew rosters, regulatory compliance and readiness in a 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust crew rosters, ensuring compliance with flight duty time limitations, fatigue risk management and aviation regulations (GACA, IATA, ICAO).
• Lead response to operational disruptions such as delays, cancellations, emergencies and re‑routing while maintaining crew welfare.
• Act as primary point of contact for crew, senior management and stakeholders, communicating changes and resolving incidents.
• Coordinate with airport operations, OCC and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless crew deployment.
• Analyse shift performance and propose continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and crew satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years experience in crew control, crew scheduling or planning, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of airline operations and relevant aviation regulations.
• Proven ability to make data‑driven decisions under pressure and manage disruptions.
• Excellent communication, organizational and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with crew management systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools.
