Customer Engineer – Field Service for Financial Equipment

About the role

The Customer Engineer provides on‑site installation, maintenance and repair of financial and ATM equipment for NCR Atleos customers. Working within an assigned territory, the Engineer ensures equipment uptime and high customer satisfaction by resolving incidents and performing preventive service.

Key responsibilities

• Install, stage and test hardware such as PCs, workstations, printers, POS terminals, ATMs and kiosks.
• Perform minor repairs, component swaps and modular replacements on Tier I equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance and diagnose hardware failures.
• Document service calls, track expenses and maintain parts inventory.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technical teams or the Control Tower.
• Adhere to security procedures when handling ATM and financial institution equipment.

Required profile

• Technical background with experience in hardware installation and repair.
• Ability to travel extensively within a defined region and lift equipment up to 50 lb.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts as needed.
