Customs Broker

About the role

The Customs Broker is responsible for managing all customs clearance activities for import, export, transit and re‑export shipments in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures compliance with ZATCA, SFDA and other relevant authorities while guaranteeing timely release of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate customs clearance procedures for all shipment types.
• Prepare, submit and follow up customs declarations from registration to final release.
• Respond to customs notifications, observations, inspections and approvals.
• Coordinate with ZATCA, customs ports, shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders and government agencies to resolve clearance issues.
• Arrange and monitor customs inspections and physical examinations.
• Obtain shipment release and coordinate delivery with the transportation team.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Saudi customs laws, regulations and procedural changes.
• Uphold professional integrity, confidentiality and ethical conduct throughout the process.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Saudi customs regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and manage multiple shipments.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with authorities and internal teams.
• Commitment to compliance, confidentiality and high ethical standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Fasah and other Saudi customs‑related electronic platforms (preferred).
