Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

The Cyber Security Specialist will protect the organization by detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber incidents. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to strengthen the overall security posture and ensure rapid remediation of threats.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and investigate cybersecurity incidents.
• Analyze logs from multiple sources to identify potential threats.
• Perform incident triage, determine severity, impact, and remediation priorities.
• Collect forensic evidence in line with industry standards.
• Support incident response activities, including threat analysis, intrusion investigation, and system remediation.
• Correlate security events to uncover vulnerabilities and attack patterns.
• Track incidents from detection through resolution and produce detailed reports.
• Monitor external threat intelligence sources and collaborate with threat intelligence teams.
• Apply defense‑in‑depth principles and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Assist with cloud security incident response and coordinate with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, or Information Security.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, security controls, and network security concepts.
• Familiarity with incident response and digital forensic processes.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, GSEC are a plus.
