Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

The Cyber Security Specialist will support Flooss' cybersecurity function by protecting information assets, customer data, and digital services. Reporting to the CISO, the role works closely with IT, Risk, Compliance and technology vendors to implement and monitor security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts from SIEM, endpoint protection and other tools, investigate incidents, and support containment, eradication and recovery.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans, coordinate penetration tests and track remediation with IT and vendors.
• Review user access rights, monitor privileged accounts and support implementation of MFA and least‑privilege policies.
• Assist compliance with the SAMA Cyber Security Framework, NCA controls and the Personal Data Protection Law, preparing evidence for audits and regulatory examinations.
• Support cybersecurity awareness programs, prepare periodic posture reports for the CISO and maintain documentation of security tools and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security, preferably in financial services or a SAMA‑regulated entity.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+, GIAC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or relevant cloud security certifications are a plus.
• Strong analytical, investigative and communication skills; ability to act decisively during incidents.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; Saudi national.
