Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

The organization is seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Specialist to protect its digital assets and ensure compliance with security standards. You will work closely with IT teams to monitor threats, implement controls, and strengthen the overall security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents in real time.
• Implement and maintain security controls and best practices.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and internal policies.
• Manage firewalls, endpoint protection, and security monitoring tools.
• Investigate security alerts and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare security reports and support awareness initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Professional certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM or GSEC are preferred.
