Data & Analytics Consultant

About the role

Master Works is looking for a Data & Analytics Consultant to lead its business intelligence and data engineering initiatives. The role combines technical leadership with strategic partnership across Operations, HR, Finance, IT and Strategy to deliver decision‑support tools.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and data requirements.
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and analysis.
• Support data modelling, integration, data‑quality activities and data‑warehouse management.
• Define KPIs, metrics and performance indicators with stakeholders.
• Provide analytical insights, recommendations and executive‑level reports.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, data scientists and business users.
• Implement data‑governance standards and identify automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or data consulting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with AI/ML analytics and emerging data technologies is a plus.

Required skills

• SQL and relational database expertise.
• Microsoft Power BI (service, gateway, DAX, Power Query).
• Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• SQL Server or modern cloud data‑warehouse platforms.
• Data modelling, ETL processes and data‑warehousing concepts.
• Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Services.
• Python for data analysis.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality and master data management.
