Data Center Engineer/Technician – Data Center Operations (Saudi National)

About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking Saudi‑national Data Center Engineers/Technicians to join its Data Center Operations (DCO) team in Riyadh. The role involves ensuring the reliability and safety of AWS data‑center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, power and cooling systems.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hardware and network issues in AWS data‑centers.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of equipment failures and document findings.
• Handle physical equipment, including lifting and manual handling in accordance with safety regulations.
• Respond to incidents within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Collaborate with other AWS support groups on complex problems.
• Promote and uphold world‑class safety standards and initiatives.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in data‑center operations or hardware troubleshooting.
• Ability to work onsite in a physical data‑center environment.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to AWS safety culture.
