Data Engineer (Python) – Immediate 3‑Month Contract

About the role

Muller's Solutions is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join the team immediately on a three‑month fixed‑term contract. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support inventory optimization, master data management, and backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and processing.
• Build and optimise data workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Develop data processing solutions with Python, Pandas and NumPy.
• Design and optimise complex SQL queries and data models in Google BigQuery.
• Develop and integrate APIs to enable data exchange between systems.
• Implement data ingestion frameworks from internal and external sources.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation and validation to ensure data quality.
• Support master data management processes and inventory optimisation initiatives.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with product, analytics and engineering teams while adhering to data governance and security best practices.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
