Data Science & Applied AI Internship

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Data Science Intern to join our Technology team starting on 1 Oct 2026. The internship provides hands‑on experience building data‑driven solutions for our Decision Intelligence platform and learning core data‑science techniques alongside seasoned data scientists and machine learning engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize data from internal and external sources to support analytical projects.
• Perform basic exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies under senior supervision.
• Assist in preparing data, running scripts, and documenting results for statistical models and machine learning experiments.
• Create simple visualisations and summary reports to communicate preliminary findings.
• Maintain data documentation, metadata records, and workflow logs.
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Research data‑science techniques, tools, and industry trends as assigned.
• Support senior data scientists with ad‑hoc data requests and project documentation.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Basic knowledge of Python or R programming languages.
• Foundational understanding of statistics and probability concepts.
• Familiarity with data manipulation using libraries such as Pandas or NumPy.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and good communication skills in English.
