Deburring & Marking Technician

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for a skilled Deburring & Marking Technician to work on site in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role covers deburring, surface finishing and part marking of machined and fabricated components, ensuring they meet quality standards by removing burrs, sharp edges and surface imperfections while marking them according to engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform deburring, edge breaking and surface finishing of machined and fabricated components using hand and power tools.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, excess material and surface defects without affecting dimensional accuracy.
• Mark components by stamping, engraving, vibro-etching or laser marking, as required by engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions and marking requirements.
• Inspect finished components to confirm compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational training in mechanical or manufacturing disciplines is an advantage.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience deburring and marking machined or fabricated components in a manufacturing, fabrication, oil & gas or heavy engineering environment.

Required skills

• Use of deburring tools, grinders, files, rotary tools and polishing equipment.
• Knowledge of part marking methods such as stamping, engraving, vibro-etching and laser marking.
• Reading of engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
• Attention to detail, quality commitment and good understanding of workplace safety and housekeeping.
