Deputy COO

About the role

Masterworks is seeking a highly motivated Deputy COO to support the Chief Operating Officer in overseeing day‑to‑day operations. The role focuses on aligning operational activities with strategic goals and driving efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the COO in managing and optimizing operational functions across business units.
• Drive implementation of strategic initiatives and monitor execution progress.
• Track key performance indicators, evaluate performance, and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate cross‑departmental collaboration to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Identify operational risks and lead mitigation strategies.
• Lead special projects or initiatives as assigned by the COO.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for the executive team and board.
• Represent the COO in meetings and decision‑making processes when required.
• Support budgeting, resource planning, and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Contribute to building a high‑performance culture with accountability and excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7‑10 years of experience in operations or strategic leadership, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
• Proven ability to manage teams, drive execution, and lead change.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Local nationality with fluency in English and Arabic.
• Proactive, hands‑on leadership style with high organizational adaptability.
• Integrity, professionalism, and a growth‑oriented mindset.
