Design Engineer

About the role

The role includes delivering innovative, safe, and cost-effective formwork and scaffolding solutions that meet project requirements and client expectations. It combines engineering design, technical coordination, and commercial awareness to develop optimized solutions from tender stage through project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the design and calculations for formwork and scaffolding systems in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with project team members and the sales team to achieve client requirements.
• Review technical project requirements to obtain the best and most economical design.
• Prepare all tender drawings and material lists related to formwork and scaffolding systems.
• Ensure all designs are safe and meet standard design codes, specifications, and quality standards.
• Provide technical support during project execution if required.
• Prepare BOQ and material lists for formwork and scaffolding systems precisely.
• Attend technical meetings with clients and consultants to secure design approval before execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in formwork & scaffolding systems, including structural design and software such as SAP 2000, ETABS, RSTAB, Tipo's, and Idea Statics.
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D.
• Flexibility with working hours and ability to work effectively.
• Professional attitude and conduct in accordance with company regulations.
• Background in steel structure is an additional advantage.
