Developer Community Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Developer Community Manager to act as a credible technical presence across developer ecosystems. You will engage engineers on forums, social platforms, and open‑source communities, helping our product become a trusted voice in technology decisions. The role is remote‑first and works closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, authentic presence in developer communities and contribute to technical discussions.
• Engage on platforms such as Reddit, Hacker News, X, LinkedIn, Discord, Stack Overflow, Medium, and GitHub around orchestration, data engineering, and infrastructure tools.
• Answer developer questions, share expertise, and build long‑term trust.
• Identify high‑impact communities and discussions where the product can add value.
• Collaborate with product marketing, engineering, and developer relations to surface use cases and technical insights.
• Translate community feedback into actionable recommendations for product and engineering teams.
• Build relationships with technical creators (bloggers, YouTubers, newsletter authors) in the data and infrastructure space.
• Leverage modern, AI‑assisted tools to scale engagement while ensuring technical accuracy.

Required profile

• Strong technical understanding of data pipelines, orchestration systems, and infrastructure tooling.
• Proven experience building or participating in influential developer communities.
• Deep familiarity with the dynamics of platforms like Reddit, Hacker News, X, LinkedIn, Discord, etc.
• Excellent written English; French is a plus.
• Creator mindset with the ability to spot opportunities and produce valuable technical content.
• Highly autonomous, curious, and comfortable in an asynchronous, remote‑first environment.
