Development Manager

About the role

The Development Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of real‑estate projects for Retal Urban Development Co in Khobar. The role combines commercial and project management, stakeholder coordination and ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple development projects from identification through design, construction and hand‑over, overseeing commercial, technical and legal aspects.
• Lead leasing, partnership negotiations, architecture and construction contracts, and ensure compliance with local affordable‑housing programmes.
• Develop business cases in collaboration with Finance, Legal, Project Services and Strategy heads.
• Monitor day‑to‑day partner relationships, track performance metrics and maintain project documentation, cost control and working capital.
• Coordinate facility‑management induction for newly completed facilities and keep the knowledge‑management database up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• 8‑12 years of experience in project and construction management within real‑estate development, including high‑rise hotels, branded residences or apartments.
• Minimum 4 years in a development role within the GCC, with strong understanding of business plans, financial control and delivery of large‑scale projects.
• Proven experience preparing RFPs, contracts and tenders.
