DevOps – Solution Integration & Operations Engineer

About the role

ARENGY is seeking a DevOps – Solution Integration & Operations Engineer to join the DelOps team as a contractor in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role supports both the RUN (operations) and BUILD (delivery) phases of client solutions, working closely with project managers, service delivery managers, R&D, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier II technical support for cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments, ensuring high availability, reliability, security and performance.
• Design, implement and optimise system changes while maintaining internal tools and technical documentation.
• Support service delivery and operations, including change management (CAB), production readiness, performance monitoring and 24/7 support rotation.
• Install, configure, integrate and deploy solutions on customer infrastructure (hardware and VMware) and ensure seamless connectivity with customer networks.
• Execute customer acceptance testing, develop operational documentation and collaborate with development and validation teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Linux/Unix system administration, technical support or system integration.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix, shell scripting and Python or Perl.
• Proven expertise in at least one of the following: networking (IPv4, routing, TCP/IP), SQL/PL‑SQL (Oracle/Cassandra) or Apache/web server administration with SSL certificates.
