Director - Construction Management

About the role

The Director of Construction Management is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of major construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. The role oversees contractors, consultants, and project teams while managing stakeholder relationships and driving effective project governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the construction management function across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Develop and implement construction execution strategies, methodologies, and delivery plans.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, quality, and risk management activities.
• Manage and monitor the performance of contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership and direction to multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Coordinate with design, development, procurement, and operations teams to ensure project alignment.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field.
• 12‑15 years of experience in construction and project delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience delivering large‑scale mixed‑use, infrastructure, real‑estate, or mega‑development projects.
• Strong knowledge of international construction standards and industry best practices.
