About the role

The Director of Procurement & Supply Chain provides strategic leadership for all procurement and supply‑chain activities, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, cost‑efficiency, and sustainability. This senior position drives the development and execution of end‑to‑end supply‑chain strategies while leading a cross‑functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy that supports operational efficiency and cost savings.
• Lead, mentor and develop the procurement and supply‑chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance.
• Monitor supply‑chain performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, inventory and distribution functions to ensure seamless alignment of procurement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards across all procurement activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply‑chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of delivering strategic sourcing initiatives that achieve cost reduction and supply optimisation.
• Extensive experience in demand planning, inventory control and supplier relationship management.
• Strong understanding of relevant regulatory and compliance standards.
• Exceptional negotiation, contract management and change‑leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Experience using data analysis tools for decision‑making.
• Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable insights.
