Director - Production & Technical Integration

About the role

The Director of Production & Technical Integration will lead the technical strategy, planning, design and delivery for all ERC Events & Entertainment assets. This includes overseeing audio, lighting, video, broadcast, rigging, show communications and technical infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable and operationally ready event delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical strategy and planning requirements for venues, stages and all event assets.
• Manage integration of audio, lighting, video, broadcast, rigging, communications and infrastructure across venues.
• Maintain a comprehensive venue constraints library and coordinate technical requirements to optimise planning.
• Define and uphold technical production and safety standards, conduct testing, commissioning and quality assurance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors and contractors, monitor risks and report technical readiness through governance forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Event Management, Media Production, Entertainment Management or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with a strong leadership background.
• Extensive experience in technical strategy, planning, design and delivery for large‑scale events and productions.
• Proven ability to translate creative concepts and operational requirements into coordinated technical packages.
