Document Control Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Document Control and Data Management Manager to lead the document control function across large‑scale projects in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures accurate, traceable and secure project records that meet contractual, client and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement document control strategies, policies, procedures and standards aligned with contractual and client requirements.
• Manage the controlled flow of project documentation, including drawings, submittals, RFIs, correspondence, meeting minutes and contractual documents.
• Prepare and implement project‑specific document control and information management plans and oversee project closeout and handover activities.
• Monitor performance against KPIs, prepare dashboards and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management or related discipline, preferably from a Western university.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in document control, records management or information management within engineering or construction environments.
• Proven experience managing information on large, complex, multi‑stakeholder projects in international, multicultural settings.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Document Management Systems and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
• Ability to define metadata, naming conventions, classification structures and security protocols.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
