Document Management System (DMS) Architect

About the role

The DMS Architect will join a team of document‑management and application experts to design, build, support and maintain core legal applications for multiple clients across the United States. You will work directly with clients, delivering end‑to‑end solutions in both on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of DMS projects, including installation, upgrade, customization and maintenance of iManage, NetDocuments, SharePoint, Teams and related tools.
• Design, implement and configure core iManage modules (IDOL/RAVN, Comm Server, Share, Drive, SPM, Threat Manager) and NetDocuments modules (ndMail, ndLink).
• Perform full‑scale DMS cloud migrations and configure ancillary tools such as Litera, RBRO and MacroAgility.
• Set up authentication mechanisms (SSO, MFA, SAML) and manage mass document imports/exports.
• Provide Tier‑3 user application support, troubleshoot workspace creation issues, and integrate DMS with desktop applications.
• Conduct system administration, data analysis, and documentation of functional requirements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience with legal DMS platforms, especially iManage or NetDocuments.
• 5+ years working with core iManage server applications (version 10.x) and related technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
