Driver Trainer – L&D (Delivery Operations)

About the role

Amazon is looking for self‑motivated Driver Trainers to develop a network of customer‑centric Delivery Associates across its operating sites. You will mentor new drivers, lead classroom sessions and conduct hands‑on drive‑alongs to reinforce safe and efficient delivery practices.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate daily training classes for up to 30 participants, including in‑station sessions and on‑road drive‑alongs.
• Create Learning App accounts and assign Day 0 onboarding training; follow up on Day 1 assignments.
• Partner with Delivery Service Partners, Operations Managers, Area Managers and Learning Teams to coordinate and measure training activities.
• Conduct coaching sessions, participate in stand‑ups, and audit driver safety and compliance standards.
• Provide accurate reporting on training completion, safety, and maintenance duties.
• Track performance through ride‑behind observations and identify re‑training or process‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, holidays; ability to work 40 hours/week with overtime.
• Physical ability to lift up to 49 lb, stand/walk up to 12 hours, and perform frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending and reaching.
