Duty Supervisor – Airport Operations

About the role

The Duty Supervisor will lead airport operations on a shift basis, ensuring that all passenger and aircraft handling activities meet safety, security, regulatory and company standards. This role is pivotal in delivering a seamless travel experience while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee passenger and aircraft handling operations, adhering to checklists, brand standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage safety and security outcomes through hazard identification, compliance monitoring and reporting.
• Coordinate VIP/MAAS, PRM and special guest requirements, including planning and execution.
• Liaise with Guest Control, Network Control and SOC to recover from operational disruptions.
• Execute and rehearse emergency response, disruption, diversion and business continuity plans.
• Drive on‑time performance, delay mitigation, accurate reporting and follow‑up.
• Promote and monitor airport ancillary sales, ensuring process compliance.
• Track customer service standards and KPIs, reporting performance.
• Ensure compliance with local authority documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or equivalent (A‑level or baccalaureate).
• Minimum five years (60 months) of experience in airport or airline operations.
• Strong decision‑making ability under safety and security pressures.
