E-commerce Trading Manager

About the role

The E‑commerce Trading Manager will lead the planning and execution of promotional campaigns on eXtra’s online platform, ensuring maximum visitor engagement and conversion. Working closely with Commercial, Marketing and User Experience teams, you will translate performance data into actionable trade decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse trading performance and feed insights into directional and trade meetings.
• Design, schedule and launch promotional plans, monitoring their live execution, including out‑of‑hours and weekend checks.
• Use web analytics tools to track promotion effectiveness and generate performance reports linking sales KPIs with customer behaviour.
• Conduct regular competitor reviews and onsite search behaviour analysis to optimise keyword queries and product placement.
• Collaborate with the User Experience team to maintain optimal site usability and conversion rates.
• Deliver promotional campaigns on time, ensuring consistent onsite search behaviour and achievement of sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in e‑commerce trading or merchandising.
• Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, positive attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with web analytics tools.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• High competence in MS Office applications.
