Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

Alfanar Building Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of electrical systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. The role involves ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance with all relevant standards while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical systems and components using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP, producing detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Perform load calculations and electrical system analysis to size equipment correctly, considering voltage drop, short‑circuit currents, and fault protection.
• Ensure all designs comply with NEC, IBC, and local building codes, and conduct quality reviews of drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical design for buildings, industrial facilities, or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to produce accurate technical documentation and to communicate technical information effectively.
