Electrical Engineer – Construction Projects (AlUla)

About the role

House of Consulting Office (HCO) is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its AlUla team and support a major construction project. The role involves supervising electrical works, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and coordinating with contractors, consultants and project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor electrical construction activities across all project phases.
• Review electrical design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, standards, quality and safety requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor installations to verify adherence to approved designs.
• Oversee High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), power distribution and low‑current systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, project managers and stakeholders for successful execution.
• Inspect and monitor ELV systems such as fire alarm, CCTV, access control, LAN, telephone, public address, audio‑visual, CATV and BMS.
• Provide technical guidance, resolve site‑related electrical issues and enforce quality control procedures.
• Prepare inspection reports, technical documentation and progress updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction and engineering projects.
• Previous experience with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) organizations (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution networks and low‑current systems.
• Solid understanding of electrical codes, standards, quality control and safety requirements.
• Proven ability to review design documentation, shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, site‑based environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software.
