Electrical Project Manager – HV/MV Substations

About the role

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of high‑voltage (HV) and medium‑voltage (MV) substation projects across Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing all phases from design and procurement through construction, testing, commissioning and handover, while coordinating with clients, utilities and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of HV and MV substation projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk.
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Manage relationships with clients, utilities, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards and regulatory approvals.
• Monitor progress and provide regular reporting to clients and senior management.
• Facilitate project meetings and resolve technical and commercial issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10‑15 years of experience in electrical power or substation projects.
• Proven experience managing HV and MV substation projects.
• Experience working with utilities, contractors and major infrastructure clients.
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabia regulations, utility requirements and approval processes (preferred).
• Strong communication and client‑facing skills.
