Electrical Technician – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Join one of the world’s largest food companies as an Electrical Technician, responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and control systems within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all electrical and controls breakdowns in the assigned area.
• Perform preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance following Kanban procedures.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, HACCP, GMP, 5S and food‑defense standards.
• Reduce mean time to repair (MTTR) by effective line presence and rapid fault analysis.
• Report anomalies, complete M1‑M3 notifications in the PM system and manage spare part requirements.
• Coordinate continuous‑improvement activities with the maintenance team.
• Overhaul motors, switchgear and related equipment independently.
• Support OEM communication for critical spares and issues.
• Assist in team training and development plans.

Required profile

• 2‑year Diploma in Electrical Technology or an equivalent certification.

Required skills

• Electrical troubleshooting and control systems maintenance.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance techniques.
• Kanban maintenance management.
• Knowledge of HSE, HACCP, GMP and 5S standards.
• Experience with high‑voltage (HV) and low‑voltage (LV) systems.
• Automation and motor/switchgear expertise.
• Material handling equipment (MHE) operation.
• OEM liaison for spare parts.
