Electro-Mechanical Technician

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Drilling Services team as an Electro-Mechanical Technician. You will work on a variety of technical products, troubleshooting, testing, assembling and inspecting mechanical assemblies while supporting equipment repairs and modifications.

Key responsibilities

• Review procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy.
• Configure test stations and systems, and analyze data from environmental tests.
• Assist in setting up experiments and recording data in collaboration with Engineering and Reliability groups.
• Test, evaluate performance, and repair general‑purpose test equipment as needed.
• Provide leadership and coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.
• Work in compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) policies and procedures.

Required profile

• 2‑year technical diploma or Associate degree in an Electrical/Mechanical field (or higher).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electro‑mechanical functions.
• Advanced soldering and assembly skills for electro‑mechanical devices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
