Electromechanical Technician – Wastewater Treatment

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our wastewater treatment team. The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment in treatment plants.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wastewater treatment equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, blowers, motors, gearboxes, valves and dosing systems.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and control system faults.
• Install, test and commission electromechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Monitor plant performance and report operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
• Maintain maintenance records and prepare service reports.
• Support plant operation teams during shutdowns and emergency maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in wastewater or water treatment plants or industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, MCC panels, VFDs, PLC systems and instrumentation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
