Electronic Technician

About the role

The Electronic Technician will ensure the reliability and functionality of all electronic systems across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities at Movepick Waad al Shamal. Working closely with hotel operations, you will perform first‑level maintenance, testing and repairs to keep guests comfortable and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot electronic components in guest rooms, public spaces and service areas according to specifications.
• Perform diagnostic tests on HVAC controls, lighting systems, security equipment and guest‑room electronics using appropriate test equipment.
• Repair or replace defective components and verify proper operation before returning systems to service.
• Document all interventions, test results and maintenance activities in the hotel’s records.
• Identify and report anomalies, safety concerns or recurring issues to senior technicians or external specialists.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests, especially during peak occupancy periods.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment that complies with hotel safety standards.

Required profile

• Ability to perform first‑level electronic maintenance and repairs in a hospitality environment.
• Willingness to work onsite and be available for emergency response during busy periods.
• Attention to safety procedures and hotel regulations.

Required skills

• Electronic troubleshooting and repair.
• Use of hand tools and precision instruments.
