Emergency Medical Technician

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to deliver high‑quality pre‑hospital and in‑hospital patient care. Working under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor and medical oversight, you will ensure rapid, safe, and professional emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Provide urgent medical care following approved protocols and patient needs.
• Operate and maintain EMS vehicles and equipment, performing shift‑start checks and reporting any issues.
• Complete all administrative and clinical documentation accurately, including accident and incident reports.
• Collaborate with EMS team members and other healthcare professionals, supporting orientation and development of staff.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper resource management of ambulances and equipment.
• Drive ambulances safely, follow navigation directions, and report transportation delays.
• Adhere to all privilege lists, scope of authority, and medical protocols of the overseeing medical company.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as an EMT.
• Diploma or higher in Emergency Medical Services or a related clinical field.
• Excellent oral and written English and Arabic communication skills.
• Valid SCFHS license for the EMS profession.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Emergency Vehicle Operator Safety (EVOS) certification.
• Valid Light Transport Driving License.
