Emergency Nurse 3

About the role

The Emergency Nurse 3 provides advanced-level nursing care in the Emergency Department at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, Al‑Hasa. The role supports operational processes, mentors junior staff, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic initiatives to improve nursing practices and patient safety.
• Participate in the development of protocols and processes that enhance operational efficiency.
• Promote staff engagement and deliver a high patient experience.
• Deliver high‑quality nursing care for complex emergency cases.
• Manage workflow, ensure proper resource utilization, and mentor junior nurses.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Achieve Clinical Advancement Program targets (minimum 20 points in four categories per 12‑month cycle).
• Apply the nursing process from admission through discharge while respecting patient privacy, dignity, and cultural preferences.
• Provide patient and family education aligned with the care plan.
• Precept new hires and trainees, assess progress, and recommend training needs.
• Respond promptly to emergency and lifesaving situations using critical thinking and evidence‑based practice.
• Perform a wide range of emergency nursing procedures, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Required profile

• International Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (minimum 3 years of study).
• Current licensure as a professional registered nurse.
• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years in emergency care.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
