Engineer - Analyzers

About the role

The Analyzer Engineer will specify, commission and optimise new analyser equipment to drive efficiency improvements and mitigate obsolescence across multiple operating units. The role leads small capital and expense projects while providing technical expertise for larger initiatives, acting as the subject‑matter expert for analyser operations and maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Specify, install and commission analyser systems for efficiency and reliability projects.
• Lead small‑scale capital/expense projects and support larger projects across sites.
• Apply reliability tools such as FMEA, RBI, RBM, RCM and the Worst Actor Program to improve asset availability and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain critical equipment lists and critical spares inventories, monitoring store requirements.
• Conduct incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical leadership to analyser and electrical maintenance groups.
• Support life‑cycle management, major shutdown planning, construction and alteration projects.
• Execute QA/QC activities including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Prepare technical reports, studies and documentation in line with EHS and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instrumentation, analyser commissioning or reliability engineering.
• Proven ability to work on capital projects and support multi‑disciplinary teams.
