Engineer II – Heavy Lifting & Transportation

About the role

Engineer II responsible for developing and delivering engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects. The role involves preparing technical documentation, selecting appropriate methods and equipment, and supporting safe and efficient project execution while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver complex engineering solutions, including method statements, drawings, calculations and risk assessments.
• Select and verify engineering methods and equipment to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Support project execution by overseeing engineering plans and adapting solutions to changing conditions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and maintain oversight of the engineering scope.
• Advise Operations, Sales and Project Management on feasibility, risks and technical trade‑offs.
• Ensure engineering documentation complies with international standards and is properly reviewed.
• Conduct route surveys and prepare detailed reports for heavy transport operations.
• Engage in conventional methodologies and develop innovative approaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Fluent English (verbal and written).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in the heavy lifting industry.
• Professional experience with HLT equipment (cranes, transport devices) and internal codes/standards.
• Proven ability to quickly grasp new concepts and work under changing priorities.
• Experience in a similar engineering role.
