Engineer II – Production Operations

About the role

The Engineer II – Production Operations will support daily operations of asphalt plants, crushers and concrete plant facilities, ensuring equipment is used efficiently, production targets are met, quality standards are upheld and HSE requirements are followed.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily asphalt, crusher and concrete plant operations according to approved plans and schedules.
• Monitor plant performance, material consumption and production data to maintain efficiency.
• Coordinate production schedules with the Production Manager and Mining Engineer to ensure smooth workflow and material availability.
• Assist in planning and executing maintenance activities during breakdowns or shutdowns to minimise downtime.
• Support product quality by following process parameters and liaising with the quality team.
• Prepare and submit daily and shift production reports.
• Provide on‑site support to plant operators and helpers during shifts.
• Adhere to company policies, safety protocols and perform additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in asphalt plant, concrete or crusher production operations.
• Intermediate level communication, safety awareness, planning, time management, problem solving and organisational awareness.
