Engineer - Risk Management

About the role

As an Engineer - Risk Management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies to ensure the successful delivery of our infrastructure projects. You will work closely with project teams to identify potential risks, evaluate their impact, and develop mitigation plans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for infrastructure projects, identifying hazards, likelihood, and impact.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk register, tracking and prioritizing risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create and implement risk management plans, including contingency strategies and mitigation measures.
• Monitor and analyze project performance to identify emerging risks and take proactive actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate risk management into planning and execution.
• Conduct regular risk reviews and provide risk reports to senior management.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate new methodologies.
• Provide risk management training and guidance to project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably within infrastructure or construction.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools, including qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques.
• Experience developing and implementing risk management plans and response strategies.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with risk management software and tools such as Microsoft Excel and Risk Register platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
