Engineering Manager - Offshore

About the role

KBR‑AMCDE is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager to lead offshore engineering delivery across Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Offshore Director of Projects, you will act as the technical focal point for clients, ensure the right mix of resources, and drive high‑quality execution on multi‑discipline projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and forecast engineering resource utilization, staffing levels and recruitment needs.
• Evaluate staff capabilities, identify development and training requirements, and deliver Saudization targets.
• Oversee all engineering execution, ensuring best practices and compliance with client and company procedures.
• Serve as the primary engineering interface with Project Managers and clients.
• Coordinate with KBR global engineering centres and manage offshore engineering department managers.
• Lead succession planning and oversee licensed software budgets and usage.
• Provide proposal input, review technical deliverables and present to stakeholders.
• Define technical delivery strategies, engineering estimation norms, and conduct design and safety reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of engineering management experience on small to large offshore project portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, commercial awareness and business development capability within the region.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards, FEED and detailed design processes.
• Proven leadership skills, able to guide multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with regulations.
