English Lecturer – Applied Medical Sciences College

About the role

Al-Ghad College of Applied Medical Sciences is seeking a full‑time English Lecturer to join its faculty in Abha. The position is a one‑year contract, involving 48 teaching hours per week, and contributes to the college’s mission of developing qualified national talent in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English language courses in accordance with the college’s curriculum and academic standards.
• Develop and adapt teaching materials, assessments, and micro‑teaching sessions.
• Utilise classroom technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Participate in the implementation of the college’s vision, mission, and educational programs.
• Continuously update teaching methods based on current linguistic theories and best practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in English (Applied Linguistics, TESOL, TESL, TEFL, Linguistics, or English Literature) with at least two years of teaching or training experience.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in English with a CELTA certificate and a minimum of five years of teaching or training experience.
• Good academic standing (grade “Good” or higher) and full‑time university qualifications.
• Successful completion of a personal interview.
