Environment Engineer – Road Project in Riyadh

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Environment Engineer to join IC İçtaş Construction’s road project in Riyadh. The role involves implementing and monitoring environmental management plans to ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Environmental Management Plans (EMP) in line with project requirements and permits.
• Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and site assessments to identify risks and ensure compliance.
• Monitor air quality, noise, vibration, water quality, waste, and soil protection during construction.
• Prepare environmental reports, compliance documentation, incident investigations, and corrective action plans.
• Lead waste management, pollution prevention, erosion control, and sustainability programs.
• Support environmental impact assessments, regulatory submissions, and ESG initiatives.
• Provide training and awareness programs for staff, subcontractors, and workers.
• Coordinate with government authorities, consultants, clients, and other stakeholders on environmental matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in environmental management for large‑scale infrastructure, highway or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance requirements and permitting processes.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken; prior experience in the Middle East, especially Saudi Arabia, is highly preferred.
