Environmental Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Coordinator to support environmental management across multiple project sites. The role involves implementing environmental plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi environmental regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
• Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Monitor waste management, recycling, pollution prevention, dust, noise, wastewater, and emissions.
• Manage environmental incidents, spills, non‑conformities, and corrective actions.
• Deliver environmental awareness training and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain environmental records, permits, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Support sustainability and ESG initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, HSE, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of environmental management experience, preferably in construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, environmental compliance, waste management, and pollution control.
• NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate preferred.
• ISO 14001 Internal/Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.
• Experience with major projects such as Aramco, NEOM, Royal Commission, or Red Sea is preferred.
• Good communication, reporting, and Microsoft Office skills.
