EPMS Engineer

About the role

The EPMS Engineer will lead the resolution and closeout of all EPMS‑related technical, functional, integration, testing and commissioning issues. This role ensures the Energy Production Management System is fully functional, compliant with project requirements, and ready for final handover to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review, prioritize and manage EPMS punch‑list items, maintaining a detailed issue tracker with owners, target dates and status updates.
• Investigate technical problems, determine root causes and coordinate corrective actions until formal closure.
• Provide expertise on EPMS hardware, software, networking and system integration, including configuration settings, alarms, events, reports and dashboards.
• Develop and execute test procedures, witness retesting, and support SAT, commissioning and performance testing activities.
• Interface with EPMS suppliers, system integrators, OEMs and EPC contractors, monitoring vendor actions and approving technical submissions.
• Ensure all as‑built documentation, operating procedures, maintenance manuals and user guides are complete and accurate for handover.
• Produce regular status reports on outstanding issues, risks and mitigation plans, escalating critical items when necessary.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience with EPMS, SCADA, DCS, PLCs and protection relays in an industrial or power‑generation environment.
• Strong ability to manage issue tracking, coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive technical resolutions.
