EPMS Supervisor

About the role

The EPMS Supervisor leads the control room team responsible for operating and safeguarding the electric power system. Reporting to the OHTL & EPMS O&M Manager, the role ensures reliable generation, transmission and distribution of electricity while integrating renewable assets such as DERs and BESS.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise EPMS dispatchers and schedulers, monitoring performance against operational KPIs.
• Develop, review and update standard operating procedures in line with O&M manuals and OEM recommendations.
• Identify operational requirements, plan and conduct training for sub‑ordinates.
• Oversee day‑to‑day grid operations, including scheduling, switching, and real‑time monitoring of transmission lines, substations and behind‑the‑meter assets.
• Coordinate renewable energy integration and maintain grid stability and reliability.
• Direct field personnel to de‑energize circuits or adjust switches to ensure safety of crews and the public.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (NGHC O&M‑SPV, BESS, SEC, ENOWA) to optimize grid balance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in power system operation or grid control.
• Strong decision‑making and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of utility assets, renewable integration and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead operational teams in a 24/7 environment.
